Grangetown. Have you been overdosing on jelly babies again? Under Yorath we had one of the best strikers in the world in Ian Rush and a top notch striker in Mark Hughes. We had a world class keeper in Neville Southall, a high end PL centre half in Kevin Ratcliffe and another high quality PL forward in Dean Saunders. Guess what we also had a boy genius in Ryan Giggs. We failed to qualify. Coleman goes down as the greatest manager in our history.
I have said it before and i will say it again. Tactically Coleman is not a good manager. He is good with the players but got lucky with a group who had grown up together, and included several top players.
I think he will do well to get Sunderland off the bottom but i wont hold my breath.
