Al Manar in the news again.

How exactly is this centre, which has had links to ISIS and now the further preaching of a fascist ideology, allowed to stay open? Evil is prospering in Cardiff :-(

Re: Al Manar in the news again.
I'm having great difficulty trying to understand how the Daily Mail can be seen as less of an evil than a well known preacher of Islam? Is he anymore responsible for the thoughts and actions of people who interpret what he says, than the Daily Mail is for the people who read it?
Re: Al Manar in the news again.
He seemed to say "one interpretation is this and another, different interpretation is this". The first being something that the rest of the article makes sound like it's fairly established and the other being...if it was preaching a hateful version of Islam then it seemed to be done in a calm and almost philosophical fashion.

You've posted some great stuff on the football threads. But threads like this are divisive and only invite people to get into binary arguments from all sides of the political spectrum.
Re: Al Manar in the news again.
Can't this thread be transferred to the Political Forum in order not to disturb those members who wish to post and read on non-political threads?

My concern is with the massive over hyping of this issue which attracts an enormous amount of media coverage far in excess of that which it deserves. For example if we look at the USA then between 2005 - 2015, 24 people in the US died as a result of terrorism. In the same 10 year period, 301,797 people died as a consequence of guns.

If your parrot was so smart how come it's in a cage and the dumb pigeons are walking around outside all day long?

I bet you conned the parrot with that argument, when bent double with sexual frustration, he told you he wanted to go out for a bit of R&R. If only he hadn't let on he could talk, he'd be out there with the pigeons getting plenty...

Yet remain unconcerned that the President of Turkey's immediate family were shipping million's of $$$'s of stolen oil from northern Syria while providing ISIS with arms, money, shelter, travel routes, and when required (like Israel) hospital facilities and full medical care.
The Cardiff based preacher is "evil" yet he, unlike Hilary Clinton was not responsible for shipping millions of $$$'s of arms to ISIS in Syria, thereby prolonging the suffering of millions of innocent Syrian civilians. https://uprootedpalestinians.wordpre...ns-to-jihadis/
