Jack McKay signs for Chesterfield
One of the McKay lads off the books then.
He was on loan at Chesterfield for the second half of last season and has made the move permanent with a two year contract.
Re: Jack McKay signs for Chesterfield
I see this was mentioned in the Willie McKay thread.

I sure dad has fixed that, and many other events in his sordid life.
Re: Jack McKay signs for Chesterfield
He's going into the Development squad of a non league club at the age of 24 and this is a player that a Championship club saw fit to give a two and a half year contract to eighteen months ago?

As I remember the McKays were signed to great fanfare as being two twins with excellent reputations, highly coveted by teams as being capable of playing at the highest level.

Fanfare may be putting it too strongly.

Would that be the sort of contrived press release from his dad to generate interest (and a greater fee) , similar to that which claimed interest in Everton and West Ham for Sala?
Re: Jack McKay signs for Chesterfield
Was he still under contract ? If so, did we pay him off to get rid ? Or did he just resign for better offer at Chesterfield ?
Anyway, it seems his brother Paul has returned from his loan spell at Morecambe. Is he too much of an embarrassment to see out his contract here ?
