Re: No change to Jacks at home
With both sets of fans putting all their differences aside at the Wales games the week before, maybe the clubs and police have thought that a mutual respect and admiration would have set in, and there's no longer a risk of anything untoward breaking out on the day?
Oh look - a flying pig🙂

Re: No change to Jacks at home
Is this the first time it’s not been picked up by sky (or the bbc for a period?) since 2008?

No is the answer. No Sky games announced for that weekend yet.

I don't think so, there's nothing on their website for the 2nd of April

I think they must have picked the games but not announced them yet - that weekend Hull v Huddersfield is on Friday night and Blackpool v Forest is 12:30 on the Saturday.

I wonder if the crowd tops 30,000?

Thanks just checked. Hull and Blackpool have confirmed their games have been chosen for Sky coverage.

Re: No change to Jacks at home
It's too late in the season for Sky to show it as they'll concentrate on games affecting the playoffs and relegation.
Saying that though I'm surprised that the police haven't moved it.

Re: No change to Jacks at home
Don’t envy the trip their fans will have to endure, 10am meet perhaps, then buggered about for hours. Aw, love ‘em.

Asking for a friend
Will the away end toilets be open ?

Re: No change to Jacks at home
If police forces around the country can deal with Liverpool v United, Leeds v United , Spurs v Chelsea , Millwall v West Ham , Birmingham v Villa.....
Why can't the police down here deal with Cardiff v Swansea?

Difference being that trouble at premier matches happens but goes largely unreported, whilst anything at Cardiff Swansea will be front page news.

Certainly, it’s down the back garden path, no light with squares of Echo cut up on a nail for number twos.

I can't believe that train and independent travel is banned for Newcastle v Sunderland for example
In fact I am certain that it isn't
Crowds of 55000 , two cities that can't stand each other
Yet the majority of fans have to put up with stupid rendezvous points and coach only travel ?
It's all bollocks
