As i was bored in work, had a look and make it that a Liverpool and Man Utd player has appeared in the last 10 world cups as well.
Every England squad has had one, and in 94 when they didn't qualify, Ireland had players from both teams.

I think by 'Finals' the OP is referring to the single game as opposed to the Finals. They were missing an important apostrophe.
