Who designed the classic bluebird badge and when?
Although the club registered it as a trade mark they may not have had permission to do so if the copyright belongs to a third party.

Wolves copied their badge design without permission. The original has now been found. Not sure whether they have paid off the designer as he has a good case for copyright infringement.

Ah, I see. I thought you were referring to an actual badge - not that bluebird image/emblem that has been used in badges (and in a lot of other ways too).
When was it first used? There were alternative bluebird images before and during the use of that particular (now iconic) image.
