Like Bellamy it seems to have come at the wrong time for him, not that I think the club would be looking to drop in the Osian.

No thanks. Wales performances improved because they had one of the best players in the world.

Wales youngsters improved because there was a decent group of youngsters coming through at that particular time.

I was thinking a long term contract may have cost implications as much as anything. Even if he wanted to make a switch so soon. Don’t know how these things work though.

Imagine giving up a life changing amount of money and adventure of a lifetime 5 months in? It's unlikely unless we can offer the same money.

He could work in tandem with one of the many interesting figures that have gone through the FAW courses. There must be a dream team in there somewhere? Osian Roberts (DOF) with Thiery Henry or Marcel Desailly or Didi Hamann or that Craig Bellamy as manager?
