Rallsy sounds a big doubt for Saturday
I was aware he was taken off with about 20 mins to go midweek. However this was not to be rested for the weekend but because of injury. Has been for scan. At end of pre match interview Warnock finishes by saying he told new signing he could play left, centre or right midfield as he's got no one else at the moment. Read into that what you will. Will be a big blow if he is out and debatable whether he should have played midweek if he was already carrying some sort of knock.

Hopefully just a knock. Presumably Grujic will come straight into the team.

Re: Rallsy sounds a big doubt for Saturday
That's the news I've been dreading for some time. I really hope it's nothing serious or we could be back to square one in terms of midfield...

Re: Rallsy sounds a big doubt for Saturday
Speak for yourself - it's a big concern to myself - And I dare say our gaffer! This lad from Liverpool is only 21 and never played in the championship and definitely needs someone like Rallsy alongside him. The other loanee is a winger/forward and not a central midfielder.

Re: Rallsy sounds a big doubt for Saturday
Looks like he pulled something late in the game, wasn't an obvious limp or anything; but did go straight down the tunnel.

Re: Rallsy sounds a big doubt for Saturday
How about
. Etheridge
.Richards Manga Morrison Bennet
. Paterson Bamba
. NML Wildschut/Tomlin Hoilett
Zohore

Hold on a minute "Rallsy"? Is everyone going to just let that slide?

I agree. I have to admit to being a very recent convert to Ralls(-y). Was never quite convinced by him, neat and tidy and all that bt seemed limited. However, he's been on top of his game lately. He's taken for granted and we miss him when he's out of the team.

As bad as when Coleman used to call Bale “Baley”

A nickname shows the fans have some love for a player. In recent years we’ve had Earnie, Tommo, Chops, Whitts, SuperKev. Nothing wrong with “Rallsy”.

Stick Bambsy in the middle. Sorted.

Thanks bobsy. By out do you mean out on the booze and kebabs after the game?

Injured? ..... how did that come about, he hasn't kicked a ball in anger for ages!

Re: Rallsy sounds a big doubt for Saturday
Also - I'm firmly against nicknames that are longer than the original name.
Whitts for whittingham is understandable.
You actually have to say Ralls in order to say Rallsy, what's the benefit?

Lol, no need to get ballsy!
It was how Warnock referred to him in the interview I saw, so just repeated it! As stated above it's definitely a term of endearment as far as Warnock is concerned as he is a long term favourite of his - And mine as it happens!

Tomlin injured at the same time as there are rumours linking him with a move to one of his former clubs? Makes you wonder.

Said before Xmas I was just waiting for Ralls to pick up an injury that would see him out a few months. Fingers crossed it's a game or 2 at most. 1 game preferably...no games would be a brucey.

It's not on the level of grown men calling Williams "Joniesta"" almost as bad as grown men in replica shirts.
