I知 a big fan of Morrison BUT
Last night his distribution was poor. Yes he was winning the ball but too often he gave it away again even when not under pressure.
Also, when the long throws, of which there were many and corners were being taken he was being marked by three sometimes four players. He had no chance.
Did it never occur to him or Gunnarsson to try something different?
Re: I知 a big fan of Morrison BUT
He wasn't the only one. There was a lot of rushing and panicking on the ball last night. Missing Ralls and even more so Grujic in this area.
As for the throws, fully agree.
We've got plenty of big men, mix it up a bit
Re: I知 a big fan of Morrison BUT
Did not make good use of the throws, or dead balls in the last third.

Have we actually scored from any long throws?

A bit harsh I think - he has been fantastic this season, and I thought that he played pretty well last night, as did the rest of the team.
I know what you mean about the long throws though......

I think we did in 1964.

I’m talking about last night not the season!!!
As for the ‘rest of the team’ playing well I certainly wouldnt say that of Wildschut or Mendez Laing nor do I think Zohore or Madine can say that they did much more than try hard.
As for Bryson. I guess I see things differently.
I know what you mean about the long throws though......

I can't really remember him giving the ball away too much, it's usually knocked thirty yards by Morrison, or knocked to a fullback, maybe he didn't have many options? As for the throw ins-set pieces-Wolves won that battle comfortably, they out muscled us at the back.

Hence the point that we didn’t try to do anything different?

We never do. Two upfront is about as adventurous as it gets.
