Which Players Should Go?
At least 1 keeper. I think the club would like to sell Etheridge, but if not then Smithies is too good/ expensive to be on the bench
Connolly- will be gone in May, pity he’s not fit as we could maybe loan him out
Brown is a left back I think. One for the future, maybe loan him out ? Can also cover CH.
Bamba I have the feeling he’ll follow Warnock when he gets a job.
Richards will surely be off in May, not sure on Peltier/ Tomlin.. a lot depends on the next couple of months.
Not blessed with cover for either
Might see Bennett sold in May if we don’t go up
Think Bogle may go in May.
Ward should be offered a new deal if he stays fit.
Reid definitely off
Cunningham should be brought back when he recovers
Traore- depends on Bennett/ Cunningham

Which Players Should Go?
If we have serious ambitions to mount a challenge for a top six position either this year or next then I think the club would want to keep Etheridge and Smithies as the GK position is just too important, so based on that the list of players I would move on is

Richards
Connolly
Flint
Banda (maybe coaching role)
Pack
Hoilett
Murphy
Madine
Bogle
Vassel
Hoilett and Bamba based on age
Flint and Pack poor signings in my view
Murphy appears to want away
Vessel, Richards and Connolly to injury prone
Obviously other factors like wages will have a bearing as well as contracts etc

The issue i have with the squad is 2 people could pick an 11 and each one would have 11 different players in it

Question Mark's over almost the whole squad, even stalwarts like Pelts, Bamba and Morrison.

Bacuna Pack and Ralls in mf
Ward up top.
Cant think of anyone else certain to stay.
I haven't considered the younger players like Coxe or Brown who haven't had a look in yet anyway.
The rest may either be farmed out or will want to go, like Murphy and Glazel.

I think you’re exaggerating a bit.
No one’s going to be advocating for Connolly and Day in the squad are they?
We have a pretty set in stone first 11 I believe
Etheridge, Bennett, Flint, Nelson, Peltier, Bacuna, Ralls, Pack, Hoilett, Mendez-Laing, [Goalless Striker]
The only areas of variation are Morrison for Flint, Murphy/Whyte for winger and Random Bollocks up top.

I don’t know about good, he concedes over a goal a game with 1/3rd of those conceded arguably errors. He certainly is expensive though

I pretty much agree with that. All the ones out of contract next summer will go i expect, including Bamba (who will be 35 in January). Maybe Peltier will get offered another year (although I hadn't realised he will be 33 next week)? Murphy (who is 36) and Traore will probably be offloaded this December, but I'd rather keep Murphy than Day, although Murphy is much older. Ward, Bogle and Tomlin will go too as they no good to us going forward. You Bolger will probably go, although he is captain of the U23s. I would not be surprised if the club tries to recoup some money on Murphy, nor if Holiett and Bamba join Warnock wherever he goes next. Also Paterson could do with being offloaded too. Then problem is they are probably on good money with us as we are know for paying decent wages.

I’d be surprised if people would want Glatzel to go. He looked decent and showed glimpses but he had no support, and wasn’t given the chance to in a Warnock team. The way we’ve tried to play the past 3 games I think is gonna suit his game. I’m hoping he’s like a new signing. I mean, he scored a hat trick against Bayern Munich.

I think he will suit us when he gets a game. It’s was impossible to look good w it h Warnock expecting him to chase useless balls into the channel and play with a neck injury every game, watching those balls being hoofed up to him aimlessly.
I think Pack and Tomlin will love playing balls up to him
