Wurzles do another Bristol City
2 nil and they fecked it up again
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
I’ve felt all along that they are bang average. Two or three decent players buts that’s about it. They are mid table and by the end of the season that’s where they will be.
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
Pack suspended for next two games. Should have lost that late on.
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
I said it at the time that the win over manu would mess up their season. It`s starting to look that way.
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
To be fair, they looked really good, should have gone 3 up

Strange really that we have kicked on since losing to Man City yet they have imploded since beating Utd.
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
After watching Rochdale, this really has been a good day.
Rochdale were excellent.
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
They seem very fragile defensively
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
Bristol City have found their level. A decent sized city, although one of the worst in the Uk to be sure, is too big for League 1 and too small for the Premiership. Their owner, a superb businessman but clearly no fan of football, owns it as a break-even / high return bet on getting to the Premier league, but will certainly not spend to get there. That makes him a very sensible guy, but the club doesn't have the ambition, the stadium nor the infrastructure to get there. If it got there, it would come straight back down.
Villa, Derby and Wolves are the threats to our promotion. Bristol is not. It is a passer-by in the division. A voyeur. An onlooker. A limp dabbler. But not a serious participant.

Bristol's too small for two clubs
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
Do you mean that Bristol has a second team besides Rovers :hehe:

I hate Bristol City as much as the next guy but that first paragraph is absolute rubbish. Lansdown has spent an absolute fortune and they have a stadium that is currently bigger than CCS when we got promoted.

Relative to others spenders who got promotion what he has spent is Lidl, not Waitrose.

He personally funded the ground redevelopment and they spent about £15m in each of the last two seasons. Compared to us, they've spent a small fortune.
Re: Wurzles do another Bristol City
I hope they scrape a draw against fulham
