Joe Allen could do a good job for us and would link well with Tomlin.

I bet he's on 50 grand a week at Stoke, seeing as they signed him from Liverpool.

Thought he was so anonymous when we played Stoke that I had to check the program to see who he was.

No.
I thought he played a stormer in the last Wales game - and I've seen him run many a game in the past.
I just thought after his performance here against City that maybe he's had his day.

Yes, I'd have him here in a heartbeat! As you rightly state he would link up well with Tomlin, and would be a great addition to the team.

I’ve always rated him and his performance for Wales against Hungary was first rate.

He’ll be earning too much to come here but I wonder if he has lost that yard of pace? He can clearly keep going as he covers so much ground, but our midfield is desperate for some dynamism and pace.

I’m not sure that Allen is the man, much as I rate him

We could try and replicate Wales, Allen and Rambo in the middle of the park, I could live with that :wales:
