I've been on this Board for 10 years........like many others I know but have to say I've always enjoyed it.
Good mix of Bluebirds stuff, other football interest, whacky observations on anything and everything and a good deal of anger and amusing squabbles.
Actually, wasn't Jan, 2007 some kind of re-set date? Many have been posting longer than that - when did CCMB originally start?
It was going before 2000 wasn't it?
People act like football didn't exist before this messageboard. I blame sky..

I set up a Guestbook in 1997. The message board format came later that year and by 2000 was thriving. Some of the arguments involving Steve Bodley were quite intense. Some other quite controversial people as well.
We have members on here now that were originals from the start.
I joined the week Willie Boland signed for us, so 1999

Fun fact: The first ever post on the CCMB was TOBW complaining that the board had gone downhill.
Can we access these older posts. Feel like a bit of nostalgia now the seasons almost done.

I was on a multiple T3 line back then. Did you ever stumble across bianca's Smut Shack on your early internet travels? I got my first internet date on there with some foreign bird who flew halfway around the world to meet up :biggrin: I was a trailblazer I was :hehe: For me, the internet was great until somewhere around 2000, and then it started getting progressively worse when the corporations and money makers started to take an interest.
