I read that Bobby Reid is on loan to Fulham with an option to buy if they go up.
We play Fulham near the end of the season. What if Fulham desperately need points for automatic promotion and we don't have a chance of making the playoffs? What would you think if we didn't try too hard? What if we'd loaned a player to Swansea? Leeds?
Let's hope that doesn't happen , but it did occur to me that a player out on loan can't be recalled until the end of the specified loan period BUT he can be sold at any time and that ends the loan.
If we could interest a better club than Fulham in Reid he'd drop them in a heartbeat for personal advancement. Mind you, I wonder whether Sir Neil has handed them a Trojan horse with Reid - maybe he's far more disruptive than we knew.
