Why? You can't play the ball twice, so if it comes off a post the taker can't hit it again, and it means he also can't dribble it.
What would be absurd is if we had those rules but an exception for when players slip.

I found out today for the first time that if a pelanty is accidentally hit with both feet (due to a slip), it's a free kick to the opposing team as opposed to just taking it again (which is what happens if the keeper cheats and jumps off his line prematurely).
Mahrez got unlucky, and the rule seems weighted in favour of the keeper.
But that's all about advantage. If the keeper moves but the ball goes in then it's not a retake for obvious reasons.
