20% off Sky for existing customers
Just went into my account, clicked cancel Sky and 20% off for 10 months.
My work colleague just tried and he had the same offer.

You'd be better off actually letting it cancel, that's when you get the really good offers to entice you back. Within a month of cancelling my account Sky emailed me with the following offer:
- 75% off any TV package, and
- £100 credit on my account, and
- No contract.
Currently enjoying full TV package for about £22 a month.

colleague:
noun
a person with whom one works in a profession or business.
I have never quite understood why people now insert the word 'work' before 'colleague'.

I know but I don't want to cancel. For those who don't want to go through all the rigmarole of cancelling it's worth it.

Re: 20% off Sky for existing customers
Mate it takes five minutes to cancel.I cancelled last month. Not heard from SKY yet and frankly not bothered. Getting 20% off an already 'SKY' high price is not a good deal. I used to negotiate a 50% discount off the variety package for ten months but had to pay ful! price two months a year. This was still three times as expensive as Netflix which I get a lot more from. So I cancelled.
SKY are robbing barstewards so screw them for what you can.

Is it really necessary to insert 'quite' in there? And if if they only 'now' do it have you really 'never' understood it?
This is what I want to know.

Go to help & support. Cancel your Sky. Scroll to bottom. Still looking to cancel. Select your Sky package. Click reason and it should offer you money off.

I take it that you are just referring to Sky TV? I have Sky Broadband and a Sky landline, as well as Sky TV. I've just been on to do what you suggested and was directed to the telephone support number or the online chat facility. I could not just click on 'Cancel'.

Re: 20% off Sky for existing customers
Best go through to the Cancellation Dept if you are with BT for your broadband/BT TV too - in order to avoid the imminent price rises.
