This. It’s hardly a facepalm. Looked like the ball came into him slightly behind his stride and he actually did well to manoeuvre a shot.

He was falling over and it hit the back of his foot

I'd have him back, he'd be dangerous in the championship

He’s a decent player. If he’d managed to score one for us he might’ve gone on a run and kept us up.

The lad ran his heart out for us so he will always be a a City player who tried for us and played in a team that didn't create that many quality passes for a forward to finish off ,even Griezmann woudl have struggled

I actually liked him when he was here and thought he added something to our team. He just can't hit a barn door, and falling over as the ball was being played into him is a very Niasse thing to do

If he had scored for us it would have come off his knee or the back of his head. Nothing like a 30 yard screamer. Everton have been trying to permanently shift him off their books for a long time. At least Eddie scored for us.

Cowsasse would be more accurate

Niasse was a terrible signing. However Eddie
belongs amongst the all time crap we had in the 80s.

Dunno. I don’t see what all the exitement is about. Awkward ball in, stuck between his feet, ball possibly came of his heel by mistake, or maybe he meant it. It’s not as if he missed an open goal or anything.
That is what I see.
