Rugby This Morning

Went to watch my grandson play this morning for Gwent Schools against West Glam Schools, very proud of him, he's doing really well at the game. He's involved in the Gwent system because they live in Marshfield and it comes under the Newport area although they have a Cardiff postcode. Anyway, Newport schools presentation night is coming up, he'll get his Newport representative trophy or whatever and a Gwent County cap. Here's the rub, Gwent schools RFU charge parents £42 for the cap:yikes: My daughter paid it this morning, 30 players' parents paid £42 each this morning, nice little earner eh! Oh and the caps haven't arrived yet , they're being shipped in from China, perhaps this is the norm nowadays with schools sport but it took me aback. I imagined the cap would be free for the achievement.
