Advice needed - removing plaster glue.
I had a cataract and lens replacement op last Wednesday.
I have to wear an eye protecting shield at night which is stuck on with strips of plaster.
Trouble is I now have a build up of glue on my forehead and cheek which sticks to my hair etc.
The hospital said wash with soap but this has no effect at all.
Any safe ideas ?
When I've had this on my chest I've cleaned it with white spirit but I don't think
that would be wise in this case.:sherlock:

Oh and it's not a good idea to use white spirit on your skin, turpentine is safer.
Re: Advice needed - removing plaster glue.
There is a solvent specially used for this, you can by it in the Chemists, its called "ZOFF" Hope this helps.
Re: Advice needed - removing plaster glue.
A soft worn sponge/scourer with soap and water is what I used as I have had the same op on both eyes several years ago.To put chemicals of any sort near that eye is madness.I wore an eye patch, the grand-kids loved it.Grampy the pirate!and no stickyness.
Re: Advice needed - removing plaster glue.
The stuff is on his forehead and cheeks, meths will be fine, used to wash our faces in it after paint spraying aircraft hanger ceilings, we would be covered in spray dust .

Thanks gentlemen !
I think I'll try the Zoff or scourer after drinking a good swig of meths

Try some coconut oil, it's a great make up remover, many women use it to remove their false eyelashes, it's totally natural and safe around the eyes. :-)

Tell them to use micropore when/if you have the other eye done.

A young man like you should be firing your jizz a lot further thus solving the problem.
Try aiming at the back of a ladies dress for practice.
