Set pieces and crosses

Continuing my look at stats this season, some that may be of interest to fellow insomniacs.

Cross accuracy - 26.5% (3rd best in the PL, Brighton and Bournemouth top)

Corner accuracy - 40% (13th in the PL)

Free kick accuracy - 52.6% (19th, only Burnley have a worse rate)

The free kick accuracy stat probably means bugger all. Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea top this table, yet most of their free kicks are taken short to keep possession. Teams like us and Burnley use them as an opportunity to bomb the ball forward or into the box.
