What is a 'comedy expert'?
I'm a comedy expert. I have this real knack for it, I don't know what it is, but when something is funny, I make a involuntary noise and have a have a feeling of well being. When something isn't funny I just sit there nonplussed.

They may be British made but it just feels wrong to class Father Ted and Mrs Brown’s Boys as British.

Weird thing though comedy isn’t it, some people piss themselves laughing at some things when others are grabbing the remote & switching over. Case in question for me is that Mrs Brown thing, it must have something, there’s some people I speak to who cream themselves over it, it even goes on nationwide live tours. I tried it, don’t think I lasted 5 minutes, in my opinion it was utter shite.

That's my number one, followed by Fawlty Towers, Ripping Yarns, Ever Decreasing Circles and Porridge.

Yeah I would tend to agree.
On a different note, I absolutely loved father Ted when it was first on, but I saw an episode recently and it seemed like it has dated badly. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood, or i had seen it too many times, but it had definitely lost something.
Mrs brown's boys in the other hand is awful from the start
