Man City or Liverpool, who is better? Combined 11?

Both great sides who will probably finish with 98 and 97 points in the Premier League respectively. In all likelihood Man City will win the domestic treble and Liverpool will win the Champions League, so who is the better of the two teams?

I can't see Man City beating Barcelona 4-0 at home. But also, Man City seem to dominate the weaker teams easier.

What would a combined 11 look like?

Trent - Van Dijk - Kompany (if fit) - Robertson
De Bruyne - Fernandinho - B. Silva
Mane - Aguero - Sterling


That team looks disgustingly strong. Keeps the finesse of Man City but with the added steel of Liverpool's core and a clinical striker up front. Tonnes of pace and running there.

Laporte in for Kompany for me , he is the main stay of Pep’s defence and I feel Kompany/Van Dijk may be too similar?

Bench ain’t too shabby either ........Edison, Walker , Stones ( can cover centre half / holding CM) ,D.Silva, Firmino,Salah, Sane

Who”s managing ?? Pep 1st half , Klopp 2nd half ?

Laporte would be a fine choice. Kompany is just a rock though at his best, quite like Van Dijk.

I don't know how you can leave David Silva out of a starting 11. He is a superb player and team member.

I think come Sunday, we'll find out that Man City are the better team. Better squad. Liverpool are great to watch though. Quite fancy Wolves for the draw on Sunday.
