Technology that has gone backwards.
Technologies/events of time gone by and which have not been improved upon/superseded:
iPod Classic
Moon Landings
Supersonic passenger travel
What else could be included?

Agree. The story of the emporer's clothes comes to mind here (not Tan's!). You can expect to be called a peasant by owners of said TVs though, as I found when I dared to question the wisdom of spending £££s on such a device when it seems unless you sit directly in front of it you can't see the picture!

Virtual Reality and 3D cinema/tv.
Apart from initial interest and curiosity they'll both soon be of no use or interest

Records are making a comeback. Not sure the technology to play them is as good as it was, though.

Re: Technology that has gone backwards.
I notice x hamster is set up now for vr porn.
I'd love to get a vr device now, only thing is you could never see the missus coming down the stairs , so an emergency stop mid w ank is out of the question.
Not only that you can have a good old 4 hour session these days, set up with some bog roll and olive oil.
So can Can you imagine at 2am ,when it's still dark, having a, VR POV with a BBW in a MMF w ank, getting carried away in a world of 360 degree grade A porn, and you get the dreaded tap on the shoulder , you lift your goggles and it's now 6am, curtains are open, the missus and the kids are staring at you and Fireman Sam is on the Tele.

That'll be the next great Amazon review, following on from the Veet one from years ago!

As stark a warning about the dangers of technology as any.

Re: Technology that has gone backwards.
I was going to suggest reversing sensors, but then I read Nugent's post. I won't bother now.
(I'm surprised Mrs Steve R hasn't come in to suggest a different type of oil!)

 I suggest coconut oil for everything but nobody listens to me.
