Trump won a two-horse race because the Yanks thought he was the least worse option. Isn't that the way of it there at every presidential election? It's the same here at General Elections with different red and blue teams every five years vying to form a government. The contrived Punch and Judy shows placate the electorate here, there, and many other first-world countries as they hail democracy when in reality they had no choice as the protagonists represented the very same interests, meaning more control and power for the state, its handlers (banking industry, big business) while the citizenry are lumbered with having to endure ever more laws, rules, regulations and surveillance.
