The Reading fan in the white top...
...saw him twice from the middle of the Ninian making airplane gestures.
At least four stewards right by him did nothing.
Eventually, the one of the steward supervisors ran the length of the Ninian and organised the ejection of the guy.
When the stewards came back, made a handcuff gestures.
Knowing the background to this fixture, where were the police?

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
First time he did it he was walking down the stairs, then went back to his seat and did it again which is when the stewards moved in.
Wearing the brightest clothing of all the Reading fans was hardly the brightest of ideas.

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
Just wondered if the bad tempered second half was maybe a reflection of what happened in the Away section.....
-
Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
What will happen to him? Banned from our ground? Hopefully banned from Reading’s ground.
What a twat, not even the Jacks done that, not that I know of anyway.

Two ejected from the Ninian, too, including the pitch invader. No idea why the other guy got dragged out.

Certainly added to the atmosphere, not sure if that feeds down to the guys on the pitch but I'd assume so

Bit odd down there tonight. Don't know what the guy did to get kicked out but did see him throw a punch at the steward which would explain why they got a bit rough.
Reading fan was scum but to be fair he didn't get any support from those around him from what I saw. We've all got twats among the fans

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
I hope the prick is banned from The Madejski. I believe our own fans were chanting “this is embarrassing”.

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
Reading fella doing plane gestures was at it for several minutes. Stewards in Reading end did nothing. He was in a white top and stood out like a sore thumb.
Took a few City stewards running from Canton along the length of the pitch to get into away end to remove him. Was the most blatant disrespectful piss take I think I've seen.
Pitch invader I don't understand. Only going to end in a ban, why do it (unless with 15,000 others after a final whistle)
Ninian scrap saw words escalate between a fans dispute to stewards being involved and what was close to an assault by one of them on a lad who was trying to argue his case rather than just walk away.
It got hands on and one steward was keen to express his force rather than negotiating skills. Other stewards got involved and had to drag the lad out when it didn't need to get like that.

Also he did a really terrible job of it, didn't even see the steward coming. At least run about a bit ducking and dodging so you get a few weeeeys

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
I’d always thought that a lot of Reading fans follow Chelsea and go with Reading when they are not playing- might be different now but they had a crew a few years back.
If they still have Chelsea fans I can see why they are dickheads

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
Seemed to me that there were more pissed up people there than normal - been out all day celebrating Brexit I suppose :hehe:.

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
The guy in the white top was an absolute prick.
You’ve got to wonder what the thought process is of individuals who do these things.
Most folk won’t agree, but I think his face and his actions should be on every news screen in the Uk
Drunk or sober, there is no excuse.
He, and others that do these moronic gestures should be nationally castigated and embarrassed.
Imagine how sad and pathetic he would look if his family, friends, neighbours, employers etc, were all to see that on national TV.

I think you’ll find that the majority of folk who voted for Brexit, just got on with their day as normal.

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
Not wanting to defend reading but pearcey has already expressed the view of the majority and while not unanimous pages 3/4 of this are not happy either.

This simply isn’t true. One city fan decided it was appropriate to assault another City fan who had the audacity to stand up when we won a corner. Not once was there a punch thrown at the stewards and I’m not sure how you’ve seen it that way.

That was how I saw it allowed to carry regardless if full view of yellow jackets looking directly at him then other stewards arrived and escorted him ,as I was lose by I was able to ask him to fly over to our Ninian section to repeat his brave actions ,sadly the fat lard arse declined .

Re: The Reading fan in the white top...
Well I certainly hope hes charged , it's not as if they will have trouble identifying him
If he is just ejected , that's a disgrace
