Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
no guile without Tomlin but no excuse for lack of pace and energy.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
long throws toward a stoke player like 7ft tall... genius
but city starting to turn the screw a little bit now creating a few little efforts... a bit better but we seem to come off 2nd best to pretty much everything

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
JEEPERS.....shocking defending....Richards...Smithies doesn't hold.....Bennett doesn't block...game and season over methinks...
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
Bennett again taken to the cleaners...great save by Smithies.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
Why on earth is Ralls not on...he is either fit or he isn't. This lot think they could get in the top six???!! Appalling quite honestly.

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
off to watch the egg...feck this

Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
We've gifted them two goals today. Absolutely shocking defending. Campbell showing us what we don't have.

Don't bother. Season's definitely over after this. Forest and Brentford are going to embarrass us.
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
Richards and Bennett as poor as anytime this season.....Pack and Morrison slow and no vision.....
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
...and what's more the bloody swans are above us again...
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
What the hell is the point of putting Whyte on for Richards in the 90th minute???? (shake of head.....)
-
Re: STOKE CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match Thread
Surely. SURELY, we see one of those new full backs next game.
-

Oh dear :-(
Wins against 2 of the clubs near the foot of the table followed by a draw and a loss again to teams near the bottom, tell me what I already knew: we are mid table at best and without Tomlin in the team, not even that.

I'd say that Stoke and Huddersfield are two not dissimilar teams - neat passing but with little end product. That the two performances were so widely different can only be down to Tomlin's absence. Unfortunately our squad is so limited in footballing terms that without the only bit of real class we have, they struggle all over the pitch.
I'm sure Harris knows this too - he may be saying positive things about the squad, but no doubt the Stevenage manager's saying the same as well..
