Which teams have problems financially or otherwise next season?
Had Villa not won they may have had a torrid 2020-21 season.
What other teams will find it difficult to compete spending wise / FFP ?
I am assuming:
Swansea
Birmingham
West Brom (premiership contracts)
Stoke (premiership contracts)
Middlesboro
Fulham?

Aren't Swansea selling Dan James for £20m?

Yes, but that's going straight in Oprah Winfrey's back pocket

Swiss ramble has an analysis on a few of these recently.
Birmingham were a bit of a mess, Derby surprisingly made a profit last season (through some creative accounting).
Cant remember Villa, but it is worth remembering they bring in a lot more income than most clubs in this division, so are able to push the boat out that much more

More like 12 isn’t it? They could get him for free in a few months.....

I can't imagine their owners re-investing.
Perhaps some of our friends down west can give us an update.

Villa may have had issues had they not got promoted.

West Brom are exceptionally well financially structured and have performance / position related salary throughout all of their employees.
Stoke on the other hand appear to be in a right mess. They have the richest UK based owner / stadium / sponsor and yet were not prepared for the Championship last year and playing staff wise need to make major changes this summer.
These two clubs are polar opposites in their preparedness for Championship football
