I think Newcastle will struggle, so let’s get the pressure on by smashing them in August.

Is their squad weaker than last year? As long as Rafa stays they have an advantage over a number of sides.
20th. Southampton
19th Cardiff
18th one of Fulham/Brighton/West ham

19th wouldn't be a bad effort

Re: Premier League Bottom Three Prediction 2018/2019
I understand that a team is often greater than the sum of its constituent parts but if you look at the candidates for relegation their teams are far stronger than ours. Even allowing for the Warnock effect it will take a miracle if we finish better than bottom and the best we can hope for is to avoid relegation. As a realist my prediction is:
Brighton
Huddersfield
Cardiff

Re: Premier League Bottom Three Prediction 2018/2019
If Zaha leaves Palace, as he is rumoured to be, with a week to go before the window shuts then Palace could struggle.

Re: Premier League Bottom Three Prediction 2018/2019
Oh come on. Enough with the hyperbole. Last season three sides went up and stayed up. Look at Burnley.
To say it would be a miracle to finish above 20th is the kind of thing you'd say after lumping your entire net worth on at the bookies. We might finish 20th but then again we might finish a comfortable 12th if we show the same team ethic that got up promoted.

Can't see West Ham struggling under Pellegrini unfortunately.

I've had a feeling that since West 'am have moved into their new stadium, that they are about to implode. If they don't get that good start under Pellegrini, they might well do it this time around.
I'm pretty crap with predictions tho'. You watch 'em end up in the top six lmao

You can remind me again next May. The bookies have a group of 6 adrift of the rest, Burnley, Watford, Brighton, Fulham, Huddersfield & City. Personally I think Burnley will implode, distracted by their European adventure.

I think you may be right and I don't think it'll be Dyche who takes them down. I can see him being poached by another team before Christmas.

I don't. They still have a very good team and I would be amazed if Cardiff finish above them. I'd be amazed if Cardiff finish above anybody, but Burnley? No chance.

West Ham have spent nearly £100m and signed Jack Wilshire on a free. And have taken on a manager who has won the PL. I'd be thinking they should be doing better then imploding. But it would be one hell of a story if they did
