Help with car accident injury claim.

Im after some Ccmb help!
Me and my partner had an accident in March this year. The lady who drove into us admitted full liability. I was uninjured bit ny partner (the driver) has had alot of back pain since. We have followed admirals advice. Went straight to the doctors who said she had whiplash which should clear in about 6 daya. It did not and she had physio appointments which were advised by admiral law for which she attneded. She also has slight rotator cuff damage which wasnt identifed for a few weeks. She also had an independent medical examination. Admiral are suggesting that the injuries are too inconsistent and that it's not worth pursuing as if the other insurer (LV) will object and they don't think it will win in court also a risk of her getting done for fraud! It's really annoying because she is genuienly injured. What can we do? She is worried if it goes to court it will get reject and it may effect her job as she is a PCSO.

Ignore admiral and talk to a solicitor

I used one of the ambulance chaser firms when my son was a passenger in a car that had a bump last year. They took 25% of the settlement but it meant he had 75% of something rather than 100% of feck all.

We had to go to medical appointments but they did all the work. Took about 5-6 months and they advised us to take the offer that was made as there was a risk we would get less if it went to court.

Cant remember who the company was but it was one of those who advertise like National Accident Helpline. I think theyre all pretty much the same

Sorry about the poor spelling I was in the car. Not driving i hasten to add :hehe: as in a no win no fee maybe? I just can't believe that she has been seen by 3 professionals all of which have said she had had an injury due to the crash but our own legal cover said it's not worth following up! And If it does go to court and we lose she may get done for fraud! I feel like they are trying to put us off for some reason..

Also can I do a no win no fee as far as I was aware the cost of the physio appointments (arranged through admiral) came off the other insuerer so if we don't proceed through admiral would we lose the right to claim for these?

There are so many scammers around. I receive calls on my mobile at least 3 times a week from people trying to pursue injury claims on my behalf. Perhaps insurance companies are fed up with the scam and are even discounting genuine cases. Back pain will probably clear up eventually unless the damage is really serious but you have to go through many hoops before you can get a CT scan to confirm there is a lasting problem. Personally I wouldn't bother but that's easy for me to say as I am not the one affected. Has your partner been to the doctor? Is she on medication such as anti inflammatories. If not I suggest that is your first course of action.

We used to have a " specialist " on here a few years back, as he contacted me after i was rear-ended ( oooo err mrs )
In the end i went with who the " assistant company " suggested ( they were based in Kent ) its all a bit of a farce anyways

I honestly do not think if it went to court and they ruled in favour of the other party ( who have admitted full liability ) she would be in strife with work, it hardly ever gets to court anyways, My Brother in law was on armed response and was hit from behind, his injury meant he might not be able to get back on armed response ( he did in a few years time ) but the payout for lose of potential earnings was massive

Thanks for the help so far. A mate of mine's mum works in injury claims and said that it's quite common for insurnace companies to say not to bother with an injury claim as it's costs them money to do so and they would rather go with easier cases. Apparently only about 1% end up in court anyway. At the end of the day she was involved in a non fault crash. No injuries before the accident and now she has injuries and 3 medical professionals have said this is because of the accident so we will be proceeding! It's just frustrating that people who are not injured get away with it but the ones who are genuinely injured have to fight harder!
