Cardiff City: Transfer ban appeal for missed Emiliano Sala payments has been delayed

It is so long ago that this was news that i have forgotten about it completely.
Is it right that any '3 window transfer ban' for not paying the due instalments to Nantes was effectively suspended pending the appeal?
I wonder what this means
They also say the "exchange of written submissions" between the two clubs is still taking place.
