Re: Spurs v Brighton - Watford v Southampton
Should be doubly heartbreaking and morale sapping for Brighton

Finally! This could be crucial. They'll be deflated. We'll be lifted!
Re: Spurs v Brighton - Watford v Southampton
Final score 1 - 0.
Never in doubt really :easy:

Best possible way for them to lose.

In the words of Windsor Davies

Absolutely.
Horrendous to watch though.
Re: FT: Spurs 1 - 0 Brighton - Watford 1 - 1 Southampton
That was absolute torture to watch!
It was always going to have to be a worldie goal to decide it.
Re: FT: Spurs 1 - 0 Brighton - Watford 1 - 1 Southampton
Glad I gave it a miss - waited till it ended before opening my phone.
About time we had a result go our way.
Re: FT: Spurs 1 - 0 Brighton - Watford 1 - 1 Southampton
Whereas I have zero sympathy for teams that turn up and play like that, Brighton actually defended quite well tonight as they must have done at Wolves.
Hopefully the problem that they will have against Newcastle is that they will probably come out and try to get something from the game and run the risk of conceding, as opposed to shutting up shop.
They are still in the box seat though but we still have a chance.

Done the same a couple of times myself but decided, stupidly, to watch tonight.
The air is blue and I have nails down to the quick.
In all honesty, I had a feeling Spurs would struggle against a well drilled defence who will have taken great heart from the Wolves game.
This may well be the difference between us and Brighton come the day of reckoning.
We still have a chance and I see Fulham as going to be another nail biter for us but we know what we have to do, its black and white.
Hopefully some doubt and mental fatigue starts to creep in now for the Brighton lads after their brave effort.

Well, Fulham are, anyway.

Got in last night and switched on at around 75 mins. just as Toby Alderweireld hit
the inside of the Brighton post, and switched off straight away !!
So pleased to wake up this morning and hear the score, especially the heart-breaking lateness of the Spurs' goal..
