Looks like we’re being left behind in the race to reshape our team.
I understand we want to move some players out to release funds and I also understand that the club don’t want to discuss its transfers before they’re confirmed but I have an uneasy feeling about this transfer window not really happening for us ....again

Can't for life of me think why Lampard doesn't want his young talent coming here !

I'm not expecting much from this transfer window.

Lampard has a connection with the Jacks as was there on loan as a youngster.
Also in fairness to Swansea, they're probably seen as a safe pair of hands by parent clubs as they've really looked after their youth in the last decade. We haven't at all.

Looks more like they're gambling some cash in a bid to get promotion. Could go wrong if they don't shift players out and don't go up.

On the other hand nobody seems to think we should be in any rush to change our style from Warnockball. You can't have it both ways.

I really don’t care what the Jacks get up to but the clubs‘ respective dealings in the January transfer window show that that have signed a Champions League winning striker (albeit he was on only the bench) and a young Chelsea player on loan, and we have cancelled the contract of one of the worst signings that the club have ever made (and he was from Bolton) and recalled an injured full back from loan.
Hardly inspiring.
