First Stelling now Souness
Both are leaving Sky this season
Souness has already gone, today's Liverpool Spurs game was his last
Stelling is going on May 28th.
As far as Stelling is concerned, I wonder how long it will be before Gillette Soccer Saturday follows,at least in its current format.
I saw somewhere that the EFL (don't know about the Premier League) is considering whether to stop the blackout on Saturday afternoon games being shown live.
If that is the case then most EFL team fans will probably be watching their teams playing (even if only on the red button) rather than a results program
Re: First Stelling now Souness
I usually watch Soccer Saturday when we've got an away game. To be honest, it's been more entertaining than actually watching us play over the last couple of seasons.
Re: First Stelling now Souness
Stelling looks pretty good for 68. Didn't realise he is that old.
Re: First Stelling now Souness
Love both, stilling especially it’s sad. I hate the term PC Brigade but you look at this and it’s a sad situation.
If BT “brought the band back together, it would be a hit.
Re: First Stelling now Souness
I don't have sky but when I do watch it souness comes over as a complete melt
Phil The Nose Thompson was the same
Is he still there ?
Re: First Stelling now Souness
Sky’s dying - it’s had its day. I would never pay a bullseye a month for the shite they serve up these days.
Re: First Stelling now Souness
I like Stelling but Souness can do one.
Probably already have another scouser lined up to replace him.
Gerard anyone?
Well he's got to do something in football coz he can't manage.

I’ve not renewed my contract from May. I’ve been with them since 1990 and paid god knows what over 33 years, Enough is enough

Yeah I had my subscription for 20 odd years and packed it in when I moved a few years back - Now it's full of yankee doodle dandy sports which don't interest me, I see their introducing Baseball to us next, I can't even stand Cricket.
Re: First Stelling now Souness
I really like stelling on there - it’s just not the same without him. Shame but I guess he is allowed to retire at some point.
