If we decide to maintain alignment of standards and regulations with the EU in what way is parliament sovereign? We would be implementing someone elses rules as a baseline. Also how does either party ensure this is maintained without a formal commitment (i.e. a deal)? Sounds like fantasy politics from an insulated mega rich guy with no skin in the game. It's pretty easy for someone like that to advise taking a succession of big gambles but unfortunately for people who are living paycheck to paycheck life is not so simple.
