I think we need to recognise both those sides are better than us in all forms of behavior , skill ,and we must accept and embrace our status in life .

Not the match referee. It was (according to Steve Evans) 'referees chief David Allison' who gave the 'apology' and also (according to Steve Evans) agreed there was a Cardiff foul before the Manga goal. According to Steve Evans he also got a bit of 'empathy' from Neil Warnock when they watched the Hoilett incident on video after the match. Of course that ignores the fact that the ref was like a 12th man for Mansfield until midway through the second half when he suddenly reverted to some sort of even handedness.
