I thought Ipswich tried to play decent football - unfortunately they had some atrocious players in certain positions. Their right back was appalling, the midfield light weight but they had pace out wide and if Garner tried to play football rather than throwing himself to the floor they would have had a decent cutting edge.
Both teams had the intention of getting the ball forward quickly and to create goal scoring opportunities - In todays game this I guess is seen as old fashioned and that we should play keep ball at all costs by passing it backwards and sideways - I'd much rather watch Cardiff and Ipswich than Fulham, Reading and Norwich.
Good job Roy Keane came to watch the Derby game and not last nights. Could have been interesting.
