Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
Two much needed powerhouses in midfield, massive test today......

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
By the look of it not.....looking terrible

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
You problem we got is the players who replaced them are nowhere near as good as them pair, not even close.

Amazingly out of the 4 top players we have, 2 are always missing it seems, we won't qualify from this group unless we have all four.

Who are the 4 top players?
-
Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
Bale Ramsey Allen & Williams

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
I think we can play without one of our top players, even Bale, but two out is too much for us. We become very ordinary then. Having said that, we should have seen it out after going one up

The ones who are first on the team sheet and obvious to anyone

How did you guess?? Bloody genius

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
One of the problems in the second half was that neither Edwards and King were showing for the ball so there was a disconnect between defence and midfield.

I'd add Hennessy to the list and Ben Davies for that matter

Add Chester to that as well

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
Bale, Ramsey and Allen are a level above the rest - Williams' best days are behind him now I reckon.

Our definition of "Top" players clearly differs

"chester" has got to be the world's most undeserved nickname, he uses his feet just as much as the other players do ffs

Remove Chester and Davies from the side and we are nowhere near as strong

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
yes we can but not with the system we played yesterday, Pearcey is right about King and Edwards who were both poor yesterday and our midfield outplayed for most of the game. Fans around me were asking if playing a back 4 and putting Davies alongside Ledley would have been a better option? Huws, Lawrence and Johnny Williams need to be playing regular for their clubs as they look better players than King or Edwards at international level.

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
Ramsey and Allen are the two key components you can never be without , they are the engine room , you might get away without Bale .

Strange how Bale is deemed world class, which I think he is, but Rambo was our best player in the euros yet he's not world class. Does he need a £50 million move to Barca to be it??

Re: Can Wales win without Rambo and Allen?
I worry about what would happen if Hennessey is injured as there is no viable alternative. In order to function properly we need all our best players to play. If one is injured our performance suffers badly.
