Is it worth getting a VPN for kodi on a Sony bravia TV?
I got a 60 inch Sony Bravia TV and have got the Beast set up on Kodi, it's running directly through my TV and not a box.
What I want to know is, is it worth me paying a VPN subscription to not get caught what with all the companies like sky beginning to crack down? Is there such a thing even as a VPN that just runs through the TV to keep you safe?

Definitely worth getting a vpn. Prob won't run on the to though so need to investigate one that'll run through your router and whether you can configure your router to do so.

Not really. If you stole a car then that is theft. If you were able to make a copy of that car but left the original in place then you haven't stolen it.
So no, it's not "simple as that", is it?

Haven't stolen the source no, but then your legal argument breaks down.

I'm not making a legal argument sunshine. I'm saying it's not "simple as that".
