Re: A Bluebirds Family Tree
Pretty amazing that it only takes 18 players to link almost 100 years.

Jack Evans played in that opening match - Aron Gunnarson on Saturday
1922 Jack Evans and Tom Farquharson
1934 Tom Farquharson and Bill Bassett
1939 Bill Bassett and Billy Baker
1953 Billy Baker and Alan Harrington
1963 Alan Harrington and Don Murray
1972 Don Murray and Phil Dwyer
1984 Phil Dwyer and Mike Ford
1998 Mike Ford and Robert Earnshaw
2011 Robert Earnshaw and Aron Gunnarsson
I daresay I'm an old anorak with too much time on my hands but I found this interesting anyway.
What about the seasons frpm 2004 to 2011 though?

Presuming you'd need Earnie to Paul Parry, Parry to Kevin McNaughton, Kev to Gunnar.
Re: A Bluebirds Family Tree
Actually it's only 10 players. Obviously Earnshaw and Ford both had spells away from the club but I decided by my own rules that that didn't matter !

Well, if they're the rules, couldn't you claim we've had a Mark Harris playing for us since 1998 :hehe:?

That would only apply if amendment 73 was applied under sub-section 17 .
