Sad state of affairs but I think he's the only player who qualifies and as a loanee?

Etheridge? He's young for a keeper.
Depends how they categorise "young", some use the 23/24 mark. In which case Ralls, Zohore and Paterson would be eligible.

Etheridge may be young for a keeper but he's 27 I believe.

So the achievements of Spence at a far lower level than the first team are better than those of Ralls.
Good as Spence appears to be, he's still got a lot to do to avoid being one of many who star at youth level but never make the grade...

Thats how you bring talent on Ralls is not a youngster perhaps he is player of the year though

I saw an article a while ago which suggested we are the worst club in the entire football league when it comes to opportunities for youngsters.

I'm pretty sure the younger age groups have their own awards. Young player of the year is for the first team, surely.

Laughably, Tom Heaton was twenty five when he won City Young Player of the Year, so there's plenty of time yet for Joe Ralls.
