Just the type of player we could do with. Well done RS

After coming twice from behind Slade and his chargers earned a point at 3rd in the table Fleetwood.
The Charlton fans seem to be happy with Slade and his recent signings.
Russy's quote after the game. "I'm delighted to have gotten a draw against such a top side as Fleetwood. It's a good result and I'm very pleased. Fleetwood are a club that's going places so I'm very happy. After coming twice from behind twice we've earned a point at Fleetwood who are 3rd in the table. I'm very happy"
I know you and others will be interested in his post match interview.

He has a head like the London planetarium and about the same volume of vacuum space between his ears, the knut. Deluded, clueless noddy swinging tipper.
:hehe:
Aalesunds FK is my team in Norway and I follow them on and off. Ulvestad had been more or less a regular in a team that have gone from top 4 to bottom 4 of the Tippeligaen over the last half a decade or so. Can't say he was ever any star player. I think he let his contract run out to see where he could go. Burnley, oddly, took a punt, but wish they hadn't bothered.
Having seen him on many a stream of live games I wouldn't have touched him with a barge pole. Box to box? League 1? Na. He had one semi-decent season in the Norwegian top division when he had a good midfield around him and that's it.
Revell nets again.......lol
Apologies for the late and much anticipated update, anyway after taking an early lead Slade and his team suffered a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of AFC Wimbledon.
Another game without a win for Slade
2 wins in 8 games and 16th in league 1 after having plenty of money to spend.
SLADE OUT!
Holmes, Novak and Ajose on the bench Slade setting up like League 1 Minnows for an away trip to Oxford.
Charlton fans not happy with him. He's been given the budget to put together a team to bounce back at the first attempt but Charlton owners clearly haven't done their homework.
22 years and no promotions .
SLADE OUT!!!!
Where have Tandy's updates gone? :sherlock:
Another game and almost predictably another draw for Russ.
That's 6 in 10 league games so far.
Charlton took the lead against the run of play but once again couldn't hold onto a lead at home and 23rd placed Oldham got a deserved late equaliser.
Slade described the performance as the worst of the season and as usual blamed everyone but himself.
The Addicks fans are far from happy with Slades selection and style of play with some taking to the online airwaves to voice their displeasure.

Charlton lose 1-0 at home to Rochdale and are out of the relegation places on goal difference only.
Pressure is on Slade who stated autos was the aim and top six was minimum requirement for a club of the stature of Charlton.
Charlton lost 0-2 at home to Crawley in the piss pot trophy, he's on borrowed time
I hope we hurry up and appoint someone before he gets the bullet ffs!!!
Charlton fans have got his number already:
"I've never understood those who say he talks a good game. I find all of his press conferences to be a slightly (or not so slightly) self-aggrandizing recap of the game with a slightly condescending tone as though he's explaining football to the listener. I know that there are many who think he's better than those who came before simply because English is his first language. And he is better than Karel and Luzon because they were so bad. But he offers no insight into the game, no nuance, and he seems to get quite petulant quite quickly. Someone with a better understanding of psychology could probably stretch that as an analysis to his coaching strategy"
I feel their pain :hehe:
"Be interested to hear what bollocks comes out of his mouth tonight.
On second thoughts i'd rather not hear russ"
Start of game held up due to demo by Charlton fans against club owners. Thousands of plastic pigs thrown onto the pitch by both sets of fans.
Charlton lead 2-0 10 minutes to go
