..................to slavishly follow the line given to you by your favourite alt right site.

That's where your arguement falls down, as my observations have turned out to be mostly true. Now if my name was lardy, then you may have had a point about someone slavishly following a biased news source who got it all totally wrong.
So all that we have ascertained from this exchange is that I know how to correctly source information that passes the reality test. Next time my sources may have a left-wing slant, and what are you going to say then?
Um, after I'd picked myself up off the floor I'd probably say good on you, but bear in mind I'm sixty four in February and the average life expectancy for a man in the UK is seventy nine I believe.
Also, is "correctly source information" alt right talk for saying you endlessly visit their sites?
The ball is in your court bob. You can either follow lardy into the propaganda abyss, or you can learn how to think for yourself by following the example of posters such as RonnieBird. There is a fine case study in this very thread that you can analyse in detail. You had people like lardy & cyril who were quoting from the Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, Politico, BuzzFeed, Guardian, etc., on a daily basis, and they tuned out to be almost entirely 100% wrong. Some other posters who were thinking for themselves did a little digging, and they found a tiny handful of sources that were virtually 100% accurate on all matters. It's up to you if you want to carry on being oblivious to the truth, and I am sure some people even like it that way so that they can maintain their imaginary worldviews.

You little tinker - must admit that, although I don't believe he has said his claim was definitely wrong, it's pretty shocking and unprofessional behaviour, I wonder if it'll be a career ender for him?

I'm grateful to the poster on here who brought this matter to my attention - apparently, the President has said that he wants this photo removed from the Internet, so can I ask that you all take the appropriate action please.

I see that Donald decided to skip the WWII event in Poland to play golf and send 120 tweets.
Don't know why, he should like WWII, the Russians were on the winning side.
He still keeps coming up with new ways to amaze us.

Who is going to stop Trump in 2020?

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-s...blower-scandal
If the latest reporting is accurate, we know that Donald Trump had a phone call with a foreign leader, during which he made a provocative “promise.” We know a U.S. intelligence official considered the presidential vow alarming and filed a complaint on Aug. 12. We know the intelligence community’s inspector general considered the whistleblower’s complaint credible and urgent.
We know the Trump-appointed acting DNI ignored legal requirements related to congressional disclosure. We know the intelligence community’s inspector general was uncomfortable with the DNI’s decision to ignore the law, and the IG, Michael Atkinson, made the relevant congressional committees aware of the existence of the complaint earlier this month.
We don’t know what, specifically, the president promised one of his foreign counterparts, or to whom he was speaking. There is, however, a limited number of foreign leaders Trump spoke to around the relevant dates, and the Post’s article noted a July 31 phone conversation the Republican had with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I have just finished the second Wolff book, Siege. Bannon is probably the main source for both his books. Fascinating and shocking - and almost all true, with just a couple of unsourced assertions. The Woodward book is 100% true.
I guess those law revering, democracy loving, independent thinking, intellectually superior minds would be all over this. Particularly as Inspector General reports and whistle-blowers have been so important in their narrative. Seems I was hasty to completely ignore their views just when deep state are denying an IG and whistleblower transparency to the people.
