Theresa May was a Remainer, until recently. She's the least trustworthy of the lot.

He has far more qualifications and is much more impressive than the majority of MP's I hear from.
BoJo is an intelligent, opportunistic and conniving man. He wanted to lose Brexit narrowly, then challenge for the top job. He'll be out of Parliament as soon as he realises he will never be PM. In other words, he is there to serve only himself. Not unique in that respect.
It was enjoyable to see him get stabbed in the back by the equally despicable Gove.

Yep the Tories are a loathsome bunçh. None more so than the pious and patronising May. Labour have gifted them this election. A year ago they were neck and neck in the Council Elections. Brexit should have badly damaged the Tories but Labour managed a spectacular own goal. By 2022 it will have been 17 years since Labour won an Election. I hope to God they have got their act together by then.

Well strong leader seeking a strong majority bottled it before Jeremy could manage it:

He won't agent Corbyn will keep taking the money from Tory HQ, he's doing a great job for them guiding the Labour Party into oblivion

May is terribly pious.

"Theresa May will not take part in TV leader debates - No 10"
I can't find the comment on this to quote but it is pathetic.
This is the only chance of the opposition taking her to task. There should be petitions of some kind for there to be live debates.

All my kids school inset days are gone for this year, but they will shut the school for polling.
How do I claim my 2 x£60 for the effect on my kids schooling?

Perhaps you could be more constructive, and suggest a few extra hours after school to make up for it?

Re: Tories making statement at 11.15am. Rumours May stepping down
Labour netted 209 seats and 27% of the popular vote in the disastrous 1983 General Election. The latest opinion poll puts them on 25%. Their support in Scotland has collapsed since '83 so they may have as few as 170-180 MPs on June 9th.

Re: Tories making statement at 11.15am. Rumours May stepping down
This could well be the lowest turn out in modern times.
I can't bring myself to vote Tory, and I got no faith in Labour, anyone else is a wasted vote, so the chances are I won't even bother voting.

Re: Tories making statement at 11.15am. General Election
So as the news filters out that up to 24 Tory MP's face being charged by the CPS for election expenses fraud we now see a primary motive for May to avoid a whole raft of difficult by elections. What a cochroach she is.

Gordon Brown only gave it a go because he was well behind anyway and had nothing to lose.
If he had been leading in the polls you can bet he would have found some way out of it.
Defending PM's who are already ahead in the polls have nothing to gain and a lot to lose from these debates.
They should be mandatory but that ain'the very likely

Yep. I have often voted Lib Dem in the past but cannot forgive Clegg for his idiotic leadership during the coalition years.

Yes, here's another opportunity for Wales to have no overall say in the result of a general election.

And that is exactly why we need to stick two fingers up to the English political parties

It's incredible how many Welsh people say they would never vote Tory, but would sooner be ruled by a Tory government than by themselves.
