Does anybody else remember trying to get hold of a copy of Spick & Span ( probably my first sight of nipples) or Health & Efficiency (topless girls doing exercises or throwing a beach ball!).
Didn't H & E photoshop ladies' lady gardens so that it just showed a flat and featureless surface down there?

Re: Talking about the “old” days last night
There used to be a small corner ‘shop’ in Wellington street near to Kitchener road school called Ma’s
You could buy for a penny or tuppence an old fish paste pot of your favorite flavored pop
Stood there drinking like it was in a western saloon

Re: Talking about the “old” days last night
I remember ciggies called Dominoes that used to come in little paper envelopes containing 4 fags. (The old dear in the paper shop used to sell them in singles as well).
Referring to the earlier comment, my wife and I still say we're going to tape programmes - on our Sky box.

Re: Talking about the “old” days last night
I used to stick a coke can against the back wheel and it sounded like a motorbike.
I used to make a mean peg gun. Quite dangerous in hindsight!
I miss playing mob, and run out. Can't imagine kids play those games these days.
