So that's what you wear under that floor length black mac?

Re: Anyone buy gents clothes at tescos ?
I once bought a suit in culver house cross when I was taken short and it was okay. Might have been Marks and Spencer's actually, but possibly Tesco's and definitely in Wales. Avoid the shirts though.

I was , for about ten minutes , pretended I was looking for stuff for my girlfriend which is a complete lie on two counts , I haven't got one and secondly I rather fancied myself in the pink suspenders they had on offer

You have got to be in fashion in the first place to actually go out of fashion.

Not quite sure what you mean by “taken short”
I’ve always understood the term to mean that if I’ve been taken short then I have definitely shit myself
Or does the term have different meanings that have escaped me

Taken (caught) short, well, my understanding is.. when you can't get to a toilet in time and have to take a quick pee, wherever convenient. Getting caught short has happened to most of us at some time in the past. Shitting your pants, on the other hand, is, well... shitting your pants!

I went into an off licence looking for a Chardonnay.
The girl working in there had a low cut top on.
I came out with a Semillon.

No1 not too bad, we’ve all done it at some point
No 2 requires a change of pants at least

No, nothing like that . I was in Wales for the weekend and I was asked to represent someone in Cardiff since I was already down there, but I had only casual clothes with me. Thus I needed a suit in a hurry, and as I said, it was quite okay.

Pretty certain it was Marks and Spencer's though, thinking about it, rather than Tescos.

I had to buy a pair of track suit bottoms from there once when I experienced one of those dodgy farts that let you down at the point of exit and it turns into a runny one.
I’d been drinking cider all day and In my experience you have to be very very careful if you let your concentration lapse even for a moment in these circumstances and try to let go with a windy noisy one.
The consequences can be ....difficult
