  2. Re: When was the last time we started the same XI?

Agree wholeheartedly, I've been thinking the same since maybe Oct / Nov; injuries haven't helped either but you can't expect people to understand each other when you're unlikely to be alongside them...

Connor Roberts to Leeds on loan...

Bit of a Wales B team gathering at Leeds and three are ex Swans, can't do any harm I suppose.

Apparently Roberts hasn't figured for Burnley since October

    Re: David Turnbull - CONFIRMED

From The Scotsman, Rodgers explaining why he let Turnbull go:

"“It goes back to the summer, knowing where David was at in his thinking,” he said. “Obviously he was in the last year of his contract...

Re: This is a long medical for Turnbull...

Thanks, I knew it would come through when I wasn't around.

Feeling quite buoyant about the next few months; we may not get to the top 6 but it should be a much better watch all around.

    But if...

Re: This is a long medical for Turnbull...

Maybe I answered my own question; I've noticed Wales Online reports often have a final paragraph miles down the page - Scotland's Daily Record (sister publication of SWE) seems to have the same...

    Is it Gunnarsen or Runnarsen…?

I know and you know that Runnarsen is currently with City.

Unfortunately Roger Gibbins doesn’t- tonight he called Alex Runnarsen, GUNNARSEN !

Not once but twice even after the poor guy...
  11. Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEICESTER CITY. Match thread

Back in Wales for the holiday and am taking 16 year-old grandson to watch City really pull one out of the hat by beating the league leaders.

Have pushed the boat out as well and we’ll nob it in...
  12. Re: Cardiff City's Legal Battle With Nantes - Update

The reference to French law about instructing agents is interesting - can someone remind me:-

Who gave the McKays, instructions to arrange the flight (or agreed to their proposal)?

    Seems to be...
  13. Re: We've played all the top teams away ? Tough fixture start?

Great point, NCB, I'd felt the same without putting pen to paper on the fixtures as you have.

One would think, too, that City will be stronger early in the New Year as Ramsey + O'Dowda return and...

  16. Re: Is It Worth Going To New Zealand For A week ?

The missus and I did a week in NZ some 20 years ago now and say yes, do it, treat it as a prep for a second, future visit if you're lucky enough. We began in Christchurch from where we'd booked a VW...

Re: The Ever Open Eye FC

I played for St Pat's (Grangetown) from the early 60's through to late '70's, a decade or more when the club dominated the Cardiff and District League. My recollection is that different challengers...
