Yes, that is the alternative. And it's possible. But for me, based on past form, doubtful.

Re: We Want You to Stay

If Bulut goes, it will only be because he's being paid or will want to be paid what the board or Tan considers too much money. They're not exactly proactive or creative when it comes to hiring new...

Re: Cian interview after the game

So pleased for him. We've all had that dream. Today his dream came true. I can't imagine how he feels. I wonder if he'll sleep tonight.

He did have an especially good game today. And played for 90+ minutes.

    Re: Michael Chopra interview

That was ****ing brilliant. Chops seems like such a good bloke and you did a great job interviewing him. You should post a link to your podcast every week. Time for bed now. I have to say it was a...

Re: We Want You to Stay

The only chanting I could hear was coming from the Southampton fans. All game long.
  9. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 1 SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

He might also be a little miffed that I won $340 today after he posted this.

  10. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 1 SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

He's failing at trying to be clever by quoting what I said about Real Madrid the other day.
  11. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 1 SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

OK, 4 or 5. But I agree it was a most enjoyable game from start to finish.
  12. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 1 SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

That might be clever if that was anywhere close to being "what we often do".

    Re: Leighton James

Let's not forget he wanted Portsmouth to win the FA Cup. And he wanted Barnsley to win the semi. How patriotic is that?
  15. Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 2 - 1 SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

We played very well today, but let's not ignore the fact that we could have easily conceded 6 or 7.
  16. Re: CARDIFF CITY v SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

Thank you for posting this. I don't bet on sports much, but I opened up my account at half time and there was $21 left in it so I put $20 at 16/1! WTFN? If I ever meet you, I'll buy you a couple of...
  17. Re: CARDIFF CITY v SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

Why does Siopis get such at bad rap? He's got a great engine and he's a strong and enthusiastic tackler. If he was the cultured passer everyone expects him to be, he wouldn't be here.
  18. Re: CARDIFF CITY v SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

I don't think it would be a very good experience for them if they got hammered.

Re: Champions League attack v's defence

Real did what they often do. They have a game plan, they stick to it and they work their socks off. They strangled Man City. They barely gave them any time or space. If you can't beat them at their...

Re: What A Waste Of Money

I thought this was going to be a thread about either the House of Lords or the Royal family. Not a moan about common people whose wealth/health/living circumstances we know nothing about.
  21. Re: Looking at Burnley shef United and Luton did we actually do quite well in the Premier under warnock

No. But Warnock certainly was. Do I really have to list criteria? Just look at his record. It speaks for itself.

    Re: Plastics.

Man City are actually the richest club in the world. I'd be surprised if Real Madrid weren't the biggest. They have had years of sustained success. They've won the European Cup/Champions League 14...
  23. Re: Looking at Burnley shef United and Luton did we actually do quite well in the Premier under warnock

We didn't lose because of a decision by a referee. We got relegated because the manager was completely out of his depth. And he didn't lose 1 or 2 games he lost 24.
  24. Re: Looking at Burnley shef United and Luton did we actually do quite well in the Premier under warnock

People like Luton because they're having a go. Every time we came up against a decent team we rolled over. Watford? They ****ing destroyed us. Chelsea beat us. So it was 3 points dropped not 2. And 3...
  25. Poll: Re: Time to get of the fence. Should Bulut go or stay.

The bottom line is that I don't trust the club. So reluctantly I have to stick.
