Re: Bale close to leaving Real Madrid.

He needs to leave this summer but I don’t think he will have any regrets about joining Madrid. He has won the Champions League more times than any other British player. He has won the League and Cup...

    Re: GLAMMY

Yep I doubt Shaun Marsh will play for us this season. He has been a bit of a waste of time as a signing. Labuschagne is very likely to be part of the Aus squad for the Ashes. There are still problems...

    Re: GLAMMY

Very lucky today. I was there when we played them at Cheltenham a few years and were 99 all out. It’s not a happy hunting ground. We need our overseas player in which will help the batting but the...

Somerset coasting was this. Very disappointing after such a strong start.

    Re: GLAMMY

Yep and those runs were badly needed as it had fallen away. That’s a good total in Cardiff. Glammy rarely get beyond 160 at home so it should be enough.

    Re: GLAMMY

Lancs will win the division. The two other promotion places are up for grabs. We have lost our buffer over the chasing pack and with Labuschagne it’s going to be difficult.

    Re: Cricket World cup

Or Boult could have clean bowled him leaving Stokes stranded at the wrong end for the final ball. We will never know but the Umpires messed up and the Kiwis to their eternal credit didn’t...

    Re: Cricket World cup

The point being it would have been Rashid on strike and not Stokes as they had only completed one run. It was a huge error by the umpires. It should have been four wanted off two with Rashid to face...

    Re: Cricket World cup

You are correct. There is photographic evidence to show that at the point the ball was thrown they had not crossed. It should have been five runs with Rashid and not Stokes facing the strike.

Re: Wimbledon semi Nadal v Federer

This is the golden era in men’s tennis imo. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are all time greats. It’s impossible to say that Federer is the greatest ever because either of the other two could still end...

    Re: Is Labour Anti-Semitic?

There is a problem and it should have been dealt with by now but is it really widespread within the Labour Party? I’m not convinced. I suspect the Tories are more anti Semitic and without doubt...
