Re: 2 Ex City promoted tonight

    Thanks. Nasty injury.
Perhaps we will see him back in Cardiff next season.

Didn't make the squad. Any idea if he's injured?

    2 Ex City promoted tonight

    Marlon Pack Pompey
    Aiden Flint Mansfield

    Good luck to them.
  6. Sticky: Re: CARDIFF CITY v SOUTHAMPTON. Match thread.

Not looking 4ward to this one.
    Bet Russell Martin is!
  7. Re: FT: MILLWALL 3 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

You can see why Phillips has only ever scored a handful of goals in his career. Really should have hit the target, and if he had he would have scored. City's best chance.
  8. Re: FT: MILLWALL 3 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Played well enough until Millwall scored just before half time against the run of play. 2nd half non event.
  9. Re: MILLWALL v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Can’t see too many changes, with possibly Colwill and Turnbull starting.
Millwall probably need a win to be sure, as did Brum so I will go for a regulation City 1-0 win.
  10. Re: MILLWALL v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Pretty sure this is Finnie's first Championship match.
I look 4ward to his performance with trepidation.
  11. Re: Cardiff City bomb two players from squad over disciplinary issues as Bulut demands 'respect'

Don't think Bulut ever fancied Robbo. Suspect he didn't like his attitude right from the start.
Was he really ill? I had my doubts about this so called virus.
Last we've see of him in a City shirt.
  12. Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Despite it being a nothing game for us, still getting nervous. Hope we can nick a win and give starts to 1 or 2 youngsters.
  13. Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Haven't been so upset gor a long time, after a match as I was v Brum at home. Took me a few days to get over that performance. So disappointing.

Thank goodness nothing on it for us. No need me to...
  14. Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Looking like a must win game for Brum.
Hope we manage to scrape ourselves off the beach and put a performance in.

Re: 5 games left - predictions

Difficult to disagree with your assessment. 4 pts would take us to the heady heights of 60 pts.
Got a sneaky feeling we might just beat Brum though.
Incidentally it is likely that by 9.40pm Weds...
  17. Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

    My team
    Horvath
    Ng
    Phillips
    Goutas
    Collins
    Ramsey
    Siopis
    Wintle
    Tanner
  18. Re: BIRMINGHAM CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Hope that Ramsey will start at last.
We have a very good record v teams below us in table. My only worry is that we are on the beach and Brum aren't.
    Bluebirds 1-0
  19. Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread

    2-0
You can see why Tan is reluctant to give Bulut a new contract.
  20. Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread

Pretty sure Collins and Turnbull will start, not JWE or Ramsey. For all their faults, Bowler played well Monday, and Meite is the nearest we have to a target man. Only change possible is Robinson for...
  21. Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread

With our woeful home record it is difficult to be optimistic. Hopefully though, Hull on the beaches as well and this might just peter out to a 0-0 draw.
  22. Re: FT: COVENTRY CITY 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

I've watched the Ng penalty incident numerous times. I've come to conclusion ref was right. Looked to me that Ng deliberately tried to make contact with the Coventry player's leg, to make it look as...
  23. Re: An Organised Rigid Robust Championship Team

Didn't think Coventry closed us down in midfield like Sunderland did. That gave midfield a chance to operate, which our 3 did pretty well. Turnbull in particular enjoyed that little bit of time and...

    Re: Is there a cure......?

    No.
    Terminal i'm afraid.
  25. Re: COVENTRY CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Haven't a clue what team will start. Perhaps time for Robinson to start. Ran around a lot Saturday even if there was no end product.
Agree with other posters, time for loaners to he eased out....
