Re: All not well in the Wales camp?

Yes agreed but he needs to leave Liverpool. Klopp got rid of Allen and Ward with Wilson the next in line to depart. Woodburn needs a move to a Championship club and play regularly.

Re: All not well in the Wales camp?

That’s very optimistic. How many youngsters are that good? Brooks. Ampadu and James look good enough. I’m not convinced by any of the other youngsters. Besides in 2/3 years time Bale will coming to...

    Re: GLAMMY

So a tame draw as expected. Sad news that Jack Murphy has had to retire before his career had really gotten going.

    Re: GLAMMY

This should still be a draw though. The weather forecast suggests there may be a delayed start. I would have thought Derbyshire would want to build a lead of 200 and try and bowl Glammy out inside...

    Re: Goodnight Ryan

Apart from 2016 we have been serial failures when it comes to qualifying. Even in 1958 we snuck into the Finals through the back door. Yes there was 1976 but it doesn’t say much when Northern Ireland...

    Re: Goodnight Ryan

Of the young players Ampadu, David Brooks and Dan James look the real deal. I am far from convinced that Harry Wilson, Tom Lawrence, Matt Smith etc etc are good enough.

We don’t have a young Ian...

    Re: FT: Hungary 1 - 0 Wales

When we qualified for Euro 16 it was built off solid foundations. We had Belgium and Bosnia in that group who are the equal of the teams in this group. We lost just one qualifier in ten games and...

    Re: Goodnight Ryan

He shouldn’t go yet but I don’t think he has the ability to sort out our defence. With Bale no longer the player he was we don’t have many goals in this side.

    Re: FT: Hungary 1 - 0 Wales

In Giggs defence he doesn’t have a world class Gareth Bale. Coleman was very fortunate in that respect. Hungary beating Croatia has done us no favours.

    Re: FT: Hungary 1 - 0 Wales

Yep. The shape and formation just don’t work and our opponents get behind us far too often.

    Re: FT: Hungary 1 - 0 Wales

He has cost us crucial goals in successive games. He doesn’t start regularly in a weak top flight. Why is he playing?

    Re: FT: Hungary 1 - 0 Wales

Powder puff up front. Shambolic at the back. Sad to see Bale looking so poor. We have lost the ability to grind out a result. No complaints. We didn’t look like scoring in a month of Sunday’s and...

Lawrence again. He is bloody awful. Mepham should have started. Canít see us qualifying now.

    Re: Hungary v Wales

We miss James Chester at the back. Lawrence isn’t good enough. Allen our best player so far. Lawrence as with Wilson not taking his chances. Bale is just not involved. He looks a shadow of the player...

    Re: FT: CROATIA 2 - 1 WALES

Good stuff Paul. I also think we lacked leadership at the back. Ashley Williams captaincy is missed and I would play him ahead of Lawrence on Tuesday night. Lawrence was poor.
    Tuesday is not a must...

Early days. The Danes did well to claw back for a draw against the Swiss but their home draw with Ireland was poor. Still think they will qualify which will give us a play off spot if we fail to get...

    Re: FT: CROATIA 2 - 1 WALES

How many times did we see our defenders being turned by a ball that left them off the pace? It happened throughout the game as they got behind our back four time and time again.

    Re: FT: CROATIA 2 - 1 WALES

Apparently Ben Davies may now be available on Tuesday night too. Very important we don’t lose to Hungary especially if they win today.

He was terrific. There was one ball where he found Matondo which was superb. He must start on Tuesday night.
